Danielle Clare Lewis

I am writing this page for my beautiful cousin Danielle who died in August 2005 of the horrible
disease Cancer aged 27. She leaves behind her gorgeous daughter bethany, 2 sisters, sarah and
louise, 2 brothers, philip and paul and her mum n dad and lots of other family and looooads of
friends

Danielle was on the way to becoming a qualified nurse and she had everything going for her. She has
a beautiful daughter Bethany who is now 10, who is growing up to be so much just like her...by the
way she acts, facial expressions - the lot! Everytime u look at beth, u see danielle in some way!

She lived in Pensby, on the Wirral and she was a party animal! You would often find her down town at
the weekend, heading for the beach or cool rooms getting rather drunk. Danielle partied right up
until the end...nothing would stop her having a good boogie on the dance floor.

Danielle passed away on August 17th 2005. She found out she had cancer 18 months before. She was
once told that she was getting better, until they found cancer in her lymph nodes and danielle
started to slowley deteriate. It is the worst thing i have ever had to watch. I cried so much. On
the day of august 17th i went to say my goodbyes to danielle, I walked into the room and sat by her
beside for a bit but it was all too much for me seeing her like that and i went to run out but my
mum thankfully stopped me so that i could give her a kiss. God i am so glad she did because i would
have never forgave myself. I gave danielle a big kiss and hug and said bye and had to go so other
people could be with her. It was the hardest thing I have ever ever done. She was a babe! her close
family were with her when she died at 10.50pm... i had a phone call at 11.10pm to tell me of the
news, and even though we knew it was coming, it was the biggest shock of my life, i sat up all night
and cried and have cried most days since she has gone. Her funeral Was a good sending off (if you
can say that) lots of people were there 200+ ... She was very popular and i know for a fact that she
is up there partyin away in her 6 inch stiletto's an doin her mad dance!!

Her sister, my cousin, Sarah has been so strong through all this and if you ever read this sarah, I
love you xxx You are probably one of the bravest people I have ever met (yes even more than me,
haha) and glad you are in my life xxx

I have had a baby girl since danielle passed and i named her Elisha Danielle in memory of her.

Danielle I miss you and love you loads, too much!! I will see you when i get there and have that
double vodka ready for me, cuz ill be needing it!!
